A Real Zoo Animal Lantern Project We Completed
This is one of our zoo animal lantern projects, completed using a combination of pre-project planning and on-site production & installation.
Instead of delivering fully finished lanterns only, we transported structural materials and project components to the site, and then completed key stages of the work directly on location.
From the project images, the scene includes:
- large deer lantern sculptures
- lotus flower lantern groups
- flower bud decorative light structures
- custom painted animal lanterns
- ongoing on-site installation and finishing work
This type of project is closer to a real landscape lighting installation, rather than simple product delivery.

We Started with Site Survey and Project Planning
Before entering the site, we had already completed the project preparation.
For this zoo lantern project, we first confirmed:
- site size and layout
- visitor routes and viewing angles
- main visual areas and focal points
- spacing between lantern groups
- overall theme direction and color style
This ensures that when we move to the on-site stage, the structure, scale, and layout are already clearly defined.
The on-site work is then focused on executing and refining the final result.
Why We Use “Planning + On-Site Production”
For this type of animal lantern project, we use a combination of pre-planning and on-site production.
Before installation, we already define the layout, structure, and theme direction.
When we arrive on site, we focus on final execution and adjustment based on real conditions.
For example, during installation we will:
- adjust spacing between lantern groups
- align structures with visitor viewing directions
- adapt to ground conditions and fixing points
- refine the relationship between main sculptures and surrounding elements
- optimize the overall visual and photo effect of the space
This allows the final result to better match the actual environment, instead of relying only on drawings.

Animal + Nature Theme Creates a Complete Scene
This project was not designed as separate lantern pieces.
We combined animal elements with plant elements to build a complete themed environment.
Main visual elements include:
- white deer lantern sculptures
- blue and purple deer lanterns
- pink lotus lanterns
- orange-yellow flower bud light poles
- a custom painted rhinoceros lantern
This combination creates a more immersive space, especially suitable for zoo environments where natural themes are important.

Deer Lanterns as Main Visual Focus
In this project, deer lanterns serve as the main visual highlight.
We designed them with:
- strong silhouettes
- clear body proportions
- prominent antler structures
These features make them visible from a distance and suitable as focal points in open outdoor areas.
We also used different color treatments to avoid visual repetition and to create depth within the scene.
Lotus and Flower Lanterns Build the Environment
The lotus lanterns and flower bud structures are key supporting elements in this project.
They are used to:
- build foreground and mid-ground layers
- connect different animal lanterns into one scene
- soften the visual transition between large structures
- add color variation and balance
Without these elements, the scene would feel incomplete.
With them, the entire installation becomes more natural and visually continuous.

Custom Painted Animal Lantern Adds Character
One of the highlights in this project is the patterned rhinoceros lantern.
Instead of using a single color, we applied a custom painted surface design, which makes the piece more distinctive.
This reflects an important part of our work:
We can adapt lantern styles based on project needs, including:
- realistic animal styles
- artistic painted styles
- bright festival styles
- theme-based color matching
This flexibility is especially important for zoo and public event projects.
On-Site Production and Installation Process
From the project images, you can see that part of the work was completed directly on site.
During this stage, our team handled:
- positioning and fixing structural frames
- assembling lantern bodies
- fabric covering (or surface finishing)
- color adjustment and touch-up
- detail correction
- overall scene coordination
Some lanterns were already installed, while others were still being adjusted.
This is a normal process for large-scale lantern projects.
Suitable Applications for This Type of Project
Based on this case, this type of animal lantern project is suitable for:
Zoo and Wildlife Parks
Natural animal themes integrate directly with the environment.
Night Tour Projects
Lantern installations enhance visitor experience during nighttime operations.
Theme Parks and Public Spaces
Large-scale lantern scenes improve visual attraction and engagement.
Festival and Seasonal Events
Suitable for holiday lighting, cultural festivals, and tourism activities.
Photo Zones and Family Attractions
Colorful lantern scenes naturally attract visitors for photos and interaction.
FAQ
Is this project fully finished in the factory?
No. The main structures are prepared in advance, and final production, assembly, and adjustments are completed on site.
Why is on-site production necessary?
Because large lantern projects need to match real site conditions such as layout, spacing, and viewing angles.
Can the animal lantern designs be customized?
Yes. Animal types, sizes, colors, and overall theme can all be customized.
Is this suitable for outdoor environments?
Yes. These projects are designed for outdoor installation and long-term display.
